This isn't Disney World....

My four year old never ceases to amaze me with what he comes up with or what goes through his little mind. All last week I had been telling him we were going to see Mickey Mouse and Buzz and Woody at the Disney Live show. It was playing in Grand Forks so we got up early on Sunday and prepared for the drive. As I was getting him ready I said, "Come on now, we've got a long drive ahead of us." to which he replied, "Mom, the airport is just right over there!" (Like, DUH) It wasn't until then that I realized he thought we were jumping on an airplane and going to Disney World!! OOPS. I guess I need to explain things better next time.

It wasn't quite Disney World, but it was a great day anyway.

More Local Talent

This town has crazy talented people living right under our noses. Take Dan, for example. You see, I went to college with Dan. I don't really know him that well, but Dan went on to start a little place the locals call home. It's an art gallery. It's an artist's studio. It's a creative mecca. It's 62Doors. I don't hang out at 62Doors. I wish I did. I imagine it oooooozes creativity.

Anyway, back to Dan. Luckily I ran across his website the other day and found all sorts of fun. I think you should check it out. I wish I knew Dan better. I like Dan. Dan is the Man.
