Uppercase Living for the Holidays

This is a board I custom painted and then added Welcome Santa in black

Get Your Merry On adorned the mirror this year. I love the shadow effect it produced.

Vita and an Angel. Nuff said.

Believe in the Magic of the Season on my wall. It's hard to see, but Silver and Stone were used for the two-part colors and it turned out lovely.

A simple sample lettering of JOY on a clear ornament

Sample lettering of HO HO HO placed on clear ornament and then grouped together and hung with ribbon. (sorry about the photo. tilt your head. don't get stuck.)

Unto Us a Child is Born in silver on a float frame.

Cookies for Santa on a red holiday charger

I painted small plaques silver and black and added sample lettering BELIEVE.

Here's a peek at how I used UL throughout my home this holiday season.

All Things Cute for Baby Girls

I have to admit, having a girl is sooooo much fun. They have the cutest clothes and as much as I'd like to dress her up everyday, sometimes it seems a little pointless when no one sees her. In the meantime, I just sit and drool....here's my latest obsession compliments of zulily and fellow mommies.

SO ADORABLE!

A FaLaLa Idea

I tried something new this year to add a little cheer to our Christmas decor. I purchased these large wooden letters from Hobby Lobby and painted them dark brown with silver embellishments. They fit nicely over the blank space above our TV. I think they turned out cute. I wasn't quite sure about the garland, but it was kinda funky so I went with it. The pic is from my phone, so you can't really appreciate the colors and texture, but you get the gist.

Today I came across this idea from Frugal With a Flourish that uses the same type of letters so I think I'll have to try that next year!
